Europe: 300 Years of Exploration in Food and Science

Students investigated the culture and science of food and agriculture in 意大利, France and the United Kingdom. Highlights included visiting country farms and meeting local farmers to learn how food is sourced. They also toured production facilities to learn more about how it’s processed, 包括奶酪, 火腿, 意大利面, 坚果和巧克力. 除了, the group explored the international city of Geneva, 瑞士, with a focus on science and culture. This included a visit to CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, where physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe.
