Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) 直接录取

High School students may apply for direct admission to the BSN program and begin nursing coursework in their freshman year. No additional application is needed to be reviewed for direct admission.

High School Application Requirements

The nursing program admits qualified students regardless of race, color, 信条, 性, 年龄, 性取向, national or ethnic origin or handicap that does not interfere with the performance of professional nursing as provided by law. Students can enter the nursing program in one of two ways:

直接录取 - Individuals matriculate directly from high school into the nursing major with successful completion of the following:

One year of high school algebra II, biology and chemistry (grade C or better).
Attain a high school cumulative GPA 2.75或以上.
Attain ACT of 21 or higher or select test optional.
Test optional applicants with a cumulative GPA 3.0或更高, one year of algebra II, biology and chemistry (grade C or better) are eligible for direct admission.
Test optional applicants with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 to 2.99, one year of algebra II, biology and chemistry (grade C or better) may be eligible for direct admission pending submission of a statement that addresses:

- How have you prepared for the academic rigor of a nursing program?
Applicants who have English as a Second Langu年龄 are required to take the TOEFL and achieve a minimum score of 79 unless satisfactory SAT/ACT scores are available.
Submission of the Technical Standards for Admission to and Progression in the Nursing Program upon acceptance to program.
In some instances, applicant files are referred to a Selection Committee for review and action. That body may grant admission provided certain conditions are met or may require the student to satisfy specified criteria.
Admission and progression standards are subject to change based on regulatory, licensing and/or certification needs.
Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) licensure required prior to enrollment in Nursing Fundamentals course sophomore year, 2024年秋季生效.

竞争入学 - Students who enroll at Carroll, not having been admitted to the program through direct admission, 包括pre-nursing, change of major and transfer student applicants, may apply to the nursing major upon satisfaction of the following criteria:

Submission of a Nursing Program application, and if a transfer student, submission of a 威尼斯游戏大厅 application.
Submission of transcripts from an accredited secondary school and all post-secondary institutions attended. Applicants must be eligible to return in good standing (be free of academic or disciplinary probation) to all institutions previously attended as documented on the college report form.

A professional GPA of 2.75或以上 in college coursework, including completion of ANP 130 and 格瓦拉于101年 (grade of BC or higher)
A minimum course grade of BC is required in all transfer coursework used to calculate the professional GPA (ANP 130, ANP 140, 生物212, 格瓦拉于101年, 格瓦拉102).
Candidates with science coursework more than five years old, may be required to repeat coursework prior to application.
Written statement that answers the following questions: 1) 为什么护理? and 2) How have you prepared for the academic rigors of a nursing program?
